My hands sure have taken a beating over the years...

I love how both of the dogs are standing the same way and facing the same direction. Plus, taking photos like this while on skiis is a good way to crash, so I think this photo deserves some credit! :-)

I was walking the dogs today and saw this old truck buried in the snow. I really liked the colors of blue and rust and the red chain, and especially the way the parking light shines with the blue hue.

Our little orphan moose came into our yard this morning, had some food and took a nap.

An old photo of fish camp... I got some photos of our skijoring trip yesterday, but there was nothing special.

March 10, 2010

So many good photos from our ride up into the mountains, but I can only choose one! I picked this one because when I shifted it from color to black and white, the trees really stood out. It also toned down the brightness of the snow.

Ok, one more...

I'm not usually one for human portraiture, but I liked this one of Randy, with the snow falling around him.

I have been taking photos of cans that I find in the snow, in hopes that I will have enough to make a collage, in the future.

My newly repotted wheatgrass, soaking up the sun.

This is a photo from our trip to Sedona, Arizona, one of the "energy spots" on the earth. The red rocks and clear blue sky were spectacular.

A friend's dachshund, Taylor. I love how she is holding that big tennis ball and the kitchen towers around her, but she still portrays a big personality to the camera.

A black and white of a gloomy day walk.

March 2, 2010

Went over to Knik and took some photos of the Chugach. This photo searching adventure was a good cure for cabin fever...

Chuck and Crosby, waiting patiently to go for a ride.

Early morning hoarfrost on the deck.

A black and white of one of the dog's footprints, melted into the ice on the deck.
